The Nacho Cheese Bites are delicious with drinks, but also do well in a tasty salad. For example, make this salad with mixed beans, romaine lettuce, red cabbage, carrot and pickled onion. Serve with a fresh lime crème fraîche dressing, garnish with some parsley and you have a deliciously filling salad full of flavour!
Heat sunflower oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat and fry the pepper in it for 5 minutes until golden brown. Then add the beans and Mexican spice mix and mix well. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Meanwhile, pickle the red onion. To do this, in a saucepan over medium-high heat, heat the white wine vinegar, water, sugar and salt until boiling and the sugar is dissolved. Pour the boiling mixture into a bowl with the red onion and set aside in the fridge for 10 minutes.
Then bake the Nacho Cheese Bites in the oven, airfryer or deep fryer. The correct baking times are indicated on the packaging.
Then make the lime crème fraîche dressing. To do this, spoon the crème fraîche into a bowl, add the lime juice and mix. Season with salt and pepper.
Next, mix the romaine lettuce, red cabbage, a quarter of the dressing, pepper-bean mix and julienne carrot in a bowl. Taste and season with salt and pepper.
Then bake the Nacho Cheese Bites in the oven, airfryer or deep fryer. The correct baking times are indicated on the packaging.
Divide the salad between plates, garnish with the Nacho Cheese Bites and finish with the remaining dressing and parsley. Serve immediately.
