This drinks board with Nacho Cheese Bites is proof that simplicity and flavour go perfectly together. Crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, the bites are accompanied by a selection of spicy and fresh toppings: jalapeños, mild guacamole, salty olives and a sweet tomato paste. Served with crunchy tortilla chips and stuffed peppadews, this is the ideal board to share
Start by making the guacamole. Coarsely mash the avocado in a bowl and mix with the Greek yoghurt, garlic, lime juice and season with salt and pepper. Leave for a while to allow the flavours to blend.
For the tomato paste, heat olive oil in a small pan. Add the tomato and tomato paste and fry for 1 minute over medium-high heat. Then add balsamic vinegar, honey and a pinch of chilli flakes. Let everything simmer gently until a thick, creamy sauce forms. Season with salt and leave to cool.
Then bake the Nacho Cheese Bites in the oven, airfryer or deep fryer. The correct baking times are indicated on the packaging.
Serve them on a round board or platter with the dips in small bowls. Add olives, jalapeños and paprika and sprinkle some coriander over the bites. Serve with tortilla chips for the ultimate crunch.
